Safety

Our First Priority

Our first priority is the safety of our customers and our pilots and we take this responsiblity seriously. Safety First is our first Guiding Principle.

From flight operations to maintenance, training, evaluating, and administration, everything we do is done with safety first. We fully expect our pilots to operate our aircraft in the safest and most responsible manner possible.

Our commitment to you is to deliver the safety flight training and rental experience possible.

Promoting a Culture of Safety

The aviation community, together with the general public, expects that each of us who operate an aircraft to do so in the safest and most responsible manner possible.

When a pilot demonstrates hazardous attitudes of neglect and disregards safety and operational policies, the results are quite often very tragic, and can lead to a loss of property or life.

Safety Through Standardization

As part of our efforts to promote a culture of safety, we have adopted the operating philosophy of standardized flight operations. These principles have been implemented at many airlines worldwide and have succeeded in significantly reducing breakdowns in safety and loss of property and life.

As part of our efforts to promote a culture of safety, we have adopted the operating philosophy of standardized flight operations, which is proven to significantly increase safety. Standardization principles have been implemented at airlines and have succeeded in significantly reducing breakdowns in safety.

We have developed and published our Flight Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures Manual for use by our pilots. Both documents are written to ensure the highest standards of operational safety for our flight operations and promote a professional flying experience. Strict adherence to these policies and procedures will greatly minimize the risks that are associated with flight operations being pushed to, or beyond the reasonable limits of safety.

Our pilots must commit themselves to operating according to the policies and procedures contained in these manuals, which requires being personally committed to strict discipline and dedication to safety.

Safety Is An Attitude

Safe flight operations begins with each of us sharing a commitment to safety. The responsibilities for safe operation of an aircraft cannot be delegated to another pilot. Within a crew environment, each pilot in the flight deck is equally responsible for ensuring that the flight is operated within the established policies and procedures in the safest manner possible.

Safety of flight operations should never be taken for granted. Safety must always be our first and foremost goal and obligation, and each of us must be actively engaged in safe operations.

Our students are are exposed to these high standards of professionalism and safety in aviation begining with the first lesson in their training and are taught the foundational behaviors of discipline, operational performance, and a strong culture of safety, following principles that have been adopted by major airlines.

Safety Action Program

Human factors in aviation will always be a threat to safe flight operations. Safety programs, policies, and procedures are designed to mitigate the threats posed by human factors and the risk of degrading flight operations to the point of having an accident or incident. However, even a pilot's compliance with these established programs, policies, and procedures is subject to human factors, and sometimes, despite our best efforts, we might fall short.

Our Safety Action Program is part of our unwavering commitment to safety. We are proud to participate in a safety reporting program, both internally and through the FAA. All pilots, students and instructors, are strongly encouraged to report any safety related concerns or events that either could, or actually did, cause a breakdown in the safety of our flight operations either in flight and on the ground. Each report submitted is thoroughly reviewed and an assessment is made on how future threats to our safety can be mitigated.

Saftey Action Report

A Safety Action Report (SAR) is a critical part of our Safety Action Program. These internal reports reports allow us to continually enhance safety through feedback from the community. Through this report, pilots can submit a General Safety Concern Report or a Specific Operational Non-Compliance Event to Infiniti Aviation's Safety Committee for review.

Aviation Safety Reporting System

Infiniti Aviation is proud to participate in the FAA's Aviation Safety Reporting System (ASRS) program. This program captures confidential reports, allows the FAA to analyze the resulting aviation safety data, and in turn disseminates vital information to the aviation community to create safer skies. Participation is completely voluntary. All pilot reports that are submitted via the ASRS are confidential and in most cases, non-punitive

Benefits of Reporting

We want to ensure that you understand our commitment to safety is about our pilots and ensuring they are the safest possible pilots when they operate our aircraft.

Learning From Our Mistakes

Human factors are real. What is equally real is our ability as humans to err and make mistakes despite our best efforts to be in full compliance with the rules. When we make a mistake, it is critical for us to do three things:

Except in rare cases, filing a Safety Action Report is not an admission of guilt and we want to help you fully understand these three points to the deepest extent possible so you can avoid making similar mistakes again in the future.

Remedial Training

Whenever it becomes necessary following any safety-related event, Infiniti Aviation will provide up to two (2) hours of remedial ground training to any pilot who reports a qualifying safety related event via a SAR free of charge. If flight training is required, the pilot will receive a 10% discount on up to 2 hours of flight time. In most cases, remedial training rarely exceeds these times. For those rare events that require training beyond these times, the pilot must pay for any and all required training at the published rates.

Disadvantages of Not Reporting

Pilots who are involved in a safety-related event that should have been reported, but was not and is later discovered by Infiniti Aviation Management will not be protected by the incentives of this program. Depending on the severity of the event, the pilot could face disciplinary action.

Insurance Claims & Damages

Under the terms of the Pilot Rental Agreement, the Pilot in Command is always responsible for any damages to an airplane when it is assigned to them. Participation in our Safety Action Program does not relieve the PIC of their financial obligations for any damages that may be incurred as a result of their operation of our aircraft. If a pilot payout is required, the pilot must immediately compensate Infiniti Aviation or any third-party for any damages which they may have been found responsible for by Infiniti Aviation, an insurance company, or any third-party with lawful jurisdiction.
