Aircraft Checkout Training
Overview
An aircraft checkout is available for any pilot who already possesses a FAA-issued pilot certificate, Private Pilot or higher, who would like to have access to our aircraft to fly within our schedule availability.
All pilots must receive an aircraft checkout prior to being authorized for solo flight privileges.
Aircraft Checkout Training covers operating procedures and flight maneuvers specific to each aircraft that are necessary to demonstrate that the applicant can safely operate our aircraft without flight instructor supervision.
This training can be completed in a single session, but some pilots may require additional training if their demonstrated knowledge, skill, and judgment is insufficient for safe flight operations.
Cost
Pilots receiving an aircraft checkout will pay the hourly rental rate for the aircraft and flight instructor for all time used to complete checkout training.
Multi-Engine Aircraft Checkout Training
Please be advised that due to insurance policy limitations, we do not offer Aircraft Checkout Training in our multi-engine fleet. We do offer a time-building package for those who are seeking to increase their multi-engine flight experience. Please contact us for more information.
