Ground Classes

All students are required to receive and log ground instruction in the knowledge areas that are specific to each course of training. The online ground classes we use will fully prepare you to not only pass the FAA Knowlege Test for your course, but to retain the information learned by appyling and correlating the material to real-world flight operations.

You must purchase the ground class that is associated with the flight training course which you are enrolled in. Additional information about each ground class is available in each course's description page.

We strongly recommend completing the ground training concurrently as you progress through the flight training course. This ensures maximum efficiency of your learning and retention.

Completing The Course

Each course will be completed entirely online and at your own pace. You should make every effort to maintain the suggested schedule to ensure your training remains on schedule.

We strongly encourage you to complete the ground course and flight course concurrently.

The ground course for each certificate or rating must be completed before you will be scheduled for your End of Course Check and FAA Practical Test.

Most courses must be completed within 1 year of the start date.

Course Costs

The cost for each course is set by Jeppesen.

Links to purchase each course are included in each course's page on our website.

Course Support

Students should contact Jeppesen directly for any technical support related to an online ground course that was purchased through Jeppesen.

For learning support, students can contact their assigned flight instructor directly, or can schedule a ground lesson, at the regular hourly instructor fee. There must be a minimum of one (1) ground lesson with a flight instructor during each stage of a flight course.
